This giftbox from Norliq contains three bottles of danish made fine liqueur.

 

SUREAU

Sureau was the first in the series of Danish liqueurs from NORLIQ.
For the production of Sureau we use elderberries of the best quality. The berries are picked and carefully cleaned to remove the stems and leaves before they are pressed into juice and heat treated. 

The fresh juice is then brought to fermentation in tanks, where the temperature can be controlled, so a constant temperature is achieved during the process. Fermen- tations run for some weeks and are checked daily. For fermentation, a special aroma yeast is added which gives the product a unique fullness and richness. 

The finished fermented wine fortified with pure alcohol of good quality is pumped into storage tanks and then cooled, so yeast cells and the remains of berries will settle. After some months, pure alcohol is added again. Syrup made from various sugars is then added. This process gives Sureau its own unique flavour. 

The liqueur is stored for at least six months and bottled and ready for sale.
Sureau is a delicate liqueur with a soft and round taste of elderberry. Its carefully balanced alcohol content makes it an enjoyment of the highest class.
Serve Sureau with desserts, with strong cheese, to accompany your coffee or just enjoy it as it is. 

With an alcohol content of 26 pct this product will – after opening – keep up to 12 months when refrigerated. 

 

CERISE

Cerise is the second product in the series
of Danish liqueurs developed and manufactured by NORLIQ.
As always, quality and desire for a unique taste experience is our main focus. 

For the production of Cerise we use only Obla-chinska cherries. This fruit is flavourful and rich in acid and also has a high sugar content. When the fruit
has matured in August, it is picked and then pressed into juice. 

By adding special aroma yeast to the fresh juice the fermentation starts in temperature-controlled tanks. This process gives the wine its rich and authentic characteris- tics. 

When the fermentation is completed, the wine is fortified by adding pure alcohol. The liqueur is cooled down so the yeast cells and particles settle. After clarification, syrup and an extract of cherrystone flavours are added. The extract is added to enhance the authentic taste of cherries in the liqueur. 

Cerise is a very delicate liqueur, with a distinc- tive flavour of cherries, that gives you the association with fresh cherries just picked from the tree. Creme De Cerise contains 25% alcohol which creates a perfect balance with the light sweetness, the fruitiness and the full body of this liqueur. 

Cerise is best served with desserts, with cheese, to accompany your coffee, as a mixer or just to enjoy on its own. Recently this liqueur has become a very popular ingredient for a modern version of Kir or Kir Royal. 

After opening, this liqueur will keep for six months in the fridge. 

 

NOIX

This liqueur is made from green walnuts and offers a taste of truly exceptional quality and character.
Noix, with its delicate flavours of walnut and slightly caramelized sweetness, is an exceptionally exclusive liqueur. 

To prepare Noix we use Danish and French green walnuts. The nuts are picked prior to ripening, after which they are grounded and mixed in a concentrated al- cohol solution.

With the aid of specially developed tanks, the alcohol and nuts are oxidized and frequently stirred for many months.

The combination of the special oxygenation process, the regular stirring of the mixture and the addition of alcohol ensure that the desired flavours are prominent in the finished liqueur.
After 11 months, the nuts are strained from the alcohol solution. Then it is pumped into tanks and the clarifi- cation starts. When clarified, extract of cane sugar and glucose are added, as well as a specially- developed cara- mel. This all provides the finished liqueur with a perfect balance between the taste of the walnuts, a light sweetness and a hint of caramel.

Noix with an alcohol content of 24 pct is a perfect companion for quality cheeses and desserts or as a low-alcoholic accompaniment to coffee.

After opening, this product will keep for at least 12 months when refrigerated.
